69-year old woman arrested for Virginia Beach bomb threat

**Embargo: Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, VA** The Virginia Beach fire and police officials have charged Carolyn Cagnolatti Ghavam, 69, with threatening to blowup a convenience store in the city.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WTKR/Meredith) -- A Virginia woman is facing charges for allegedly threatening to blowup a convenience store in Virginia Beach.

Authorities say 69-year-old Carolyn Cagnolatti Ghavam threatened to bomb a Speedway convenience store and gas station.

Ghavam was arrested in Suffolk on Tuesday. She is currently being held at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.

Threatening to bomb or damage buildings or means of transportation is a felony in Virginia.
